iPod

Hello iPod fund donors,

I just wanted to thank everyone who donated to the Paul is a dumbass iPod fund to help me replace my not-even-6-month-old iPod that went for a swim with the fishes. I was horribly depressed when it happened (you can ask Melinda--I sulked) and am grateful to all of you. With the money you donated and the Apple Store gift cards I got for Christmas, I was able to replace my iPod with a new 60gb iPod with video and a Universal Dock.

I have also ordered a new Vaja iPod case for this one with a metal riveted belt clip that will hopefully better protect the iPod and prevent me from being a dumbass the iPod from falling off the clip and into a pool of dihydrogen monoxide.

Again, thanks to everyone. I know that many of you who donated (and you know who you are) definitely should not have been spending any of your own money on my being a dumbass misfortune and all I can say is I won't forget your kindness.

So everyone have a happy new year while I am off to drop my XBOX in the toilet!

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

It's nearly the end of August now and I haven't updated this page since early summer. A lot has been happening in that time period. Shortly after getting a promotion at Cooley Dickinson, I got an offer from MassMutual which I accepted. This required getting a new car for Melinda within a two week period which she is pretty excited about. We also went Las Vegas and California, to RI with Nate and some friends, to Drum Corps finals at Gillette Stadium, and my camera was upgraded to a newer model due to a series of unfortunate events which involved a boat, a wake, and a lot of water.

I should really try to keep up with this page. Fortunately, you can see most of this stuff documented in the Gallery to which I am too lazy to link.
